The terms, in plain words

Thanks for spending your quiet time with TrueVine. These terms explain what you can expect from us and what we ask of you.

The short version

This agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Rayform LLC (“we”, “us”), the maker of TrueVine. By using the TrueVine app or this website you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use TrueVine.

Who can use TrueVine

You need to be at least 13. If you're under the age of majority where you live, please use TrueVine with a parent or guardian's permission.

What TrueVine is, and isn't

TrueVine helps you build a rhythm of Scripture, reflection and prayer. It isn't medical, mental health, legal or professional advice, and it isn't a replacement for your church, a pastor or a counselor.

If you're in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please contact local emergency services or a crisis line right away. In the US, call or text 988.

Your account

An account is optional. If you make one, keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else is using it. You're responsible for what happens under your account.

Your content

What you write, record and pray in TrueVine belongs to you. You give us permission to store, back up and sync it only so we can run TrueVine for you, as the Privacy Policy describes. Your content is private: TrueVine has no public profiles or sharing. Delete any of it, or your whole account, from Settings at any time.

TrueVine Pro

  • TrueVine Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, weekly, monthly or yearly. The price and length are shown in the app before you buy.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
  • Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
  • If a free trial is offered, you won't be charged until it ends, and you can cancel before then. Any unused part of a trial ends when you subscribe.
  • Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app or your account doesn't cancel it.
  • If a price changes, you'll be told in advance as Apple or Google require, and you can cancel before it applies.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
  • If Pro ends, nothing you made is deleted. Adding more beyond the free plan simply pauses until you subscribe again.

Reminders and quiet hours

Reminders and quiet hours notes are notifications scheduled on your phone. Quiet hours send a gentle note when they start. They don't block, lock or limit other apps. Notes depend on your phone's settings and permissions, such as Focus modes, and may not always arrive.

Fair use

Please don't misuse TrueVine: no attempts to break, overload, copy or reverse engineer it, to reach other people's data, or to use it against the law. We may suspend accounts that do.

Our content and Scripture

TrueVine's design, artwork (including the sprout), prayers, reflections and software belong to Rayform LLC. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app for your own, non-commercial use.

Scripture quotations are from the World English Bible, British Edition, which is in the public domain.

Apple and Google

If you got TrueVine from the App Store or Google Play, their terms apply too. These terms are between you and Rayform LLC, not Apple or Google, and Rayform LLC, not they, is responsible for TrueVine and its support.

  • Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for TrueVine.
  • If TrueVine fails to meet a warranty that applies, you can tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. Apple has no other warranty obligation for TrueVine.
  • Rayform LLC, not Apple, is responsible for handling any claims about TrueVine, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, and claims that TrueVine infringes someone else's intellectual property.
  • You confirm you aren't in a country under a US embargo and aren't on a US list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Changes and ending

We keep improving TrueVine, so features may change. If these terms change in an important way, we'll tell you in the app before the change takes effect. You can stop using TrueVine and delete your account at any time.

Disclaimers and liability

TrueVine is provided as it is, without warranties beyond those the law requires. To the extent the law allows, Rayform LLC isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for TrueVine in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
